Maria's Journey to a New Beginning

Maria arrived in Germany in 2023 with her two children, uncertain about the future. Through DC Connect, she found the support she needed.

Finding Healthcare

The first challenge was healthcare. Using our platform, Maria connected with Caritas Munich for:

• Initial health screenings
• Mental health counseling
• Pediatric care for her children

Learning German

Maria enrolled in a German Language Course (A1-B1) offered by the Refugee Support Network. After 6 months, she achieved B1 certification.

Employment Success

With her new language skills, Maria completed the Job Skills Training program and now works as a medical assistant.
